ESPN’s updated recruiting rankings

Alabama has the SEC’s highest ranked class at this point. The Crimson Tide, who have six ESPNU 150 prospects among their 17 commitments, are No. 2 nationally behind Texas.

LSU is No. 5, Georgia No. 7, Florida No. 8 and Auburn No. 10. Three other SEC teams cracked the Top 25 — Arkansas at No. 17, Ole Miss at No. 23 and Mississippi State at No. 25.

For those who like to count stars, Alabama leads the way among SEC schools with 10 four-star prospects. Georgia has nine four-star prospects and Florida eight four-star prospects to go along with one five-star prospect. LSU has two five-star prospects and three four-star prospects on the way.
