State within 234 of season ticket record

State’s latest number of 40,667 actually includes 11,000 tickets that have not been sold. They’re allocated to students, and since the school expects them to sell out when classes start next month, it includes them in the number it releases.

State says it’s 2,100 ahead of where it was a year ago at this time and says last week’s haul of 600 season tickets is its busiest week since mid-May.

State says it has only 750 lower-level season tickets remaining.
