Petrino confuses Facebook with a … facemask?
Coaches, in recent years, have faced questions about social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The same was true this year, especially after Florida was slapped with a secondary violation by the NCAA after a coach posted on a recruit’s Facebook wall.
Some coaches embrace the technology. Mississippi State Coach Dan Mullen tweets all the time. In fact, he opened SEC media days last year by sending out a tweet from the stage.
Then there are others who’d rather spend their time doing other things, while handing Internet policing duties to members of their staff.
Petrino, who’s not even certain on the correct terminology, is in the latter group.
“I have not tweeted yet. Is that how you say it?” Petrino said last year at media days.
