Kiszla: Smart money says Hawkins had better win

BOULDER — Joining the Pac-10 Conference will be no day at the beach for embattled CU coach Dan Hawkins. The Buffaloes cannot move in fancy shmancy new digs driving the same clunker of a football team. What would the neighbors say?

Or, as I understand it: With the anticipated riches from this ballyhooed sports partnership, the Buffs can finally afford to fire Hawkins without maxing out the credit cards of CU athletic director Mike Bohn.
