College football landscape shifting

That isn’t just a temblor rattling the mightiest college football conferences.
We’re witnessing seismic shifts that could alter the landscape of the game.

And just like in a real earthquake, some very powerful people can only watch and wait to see where the cracks form and who gets swallowed up.
You don’t have to be a seismologist – though it might help – to know we mean the folks behind the Bowl Championship Series games, such as the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

• Rumbling began last year about the Big Ten having plans to expand, perhaps inviting Missouri and Nebraska of the Big 12 and/or some Big East teams such as Rutgers, to join them.
