“Tomorrow, go vote in honor of a vet,” he told a crowd of about 80 gathered under a large shade tree on the Hinds County courthouse front lawn.
Polls for the 2010 congressional primary election will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
There are more than 1.8 million registered voters in the state, including 145,888 in Hinds County, 76,138 in Madison County and 81,962 in Rankin County.
