Bulldog fans eager for second year of Mullen era
GULFPORT— When Mississippi State lured Dan Mullen away from the University of Florida to be its head coach on Dec. 10, 2008, optimism was running high among Bulldog fans all throughout the state.
Thanks to Mississippi State (5-7) finishing with a momentum-building 41-27 win over archrival Ole Miss, the positive attitude hasn’t waned one bit for the Bulldog faithful.
The season opener against Memphis may be over three months away, but MSU fans were already ringing cowbells and talking Bulldog football at the Salty Dog Rally – a meet and greet event held at The Dock Bar and Grill on Saturday.
