Is Moultrie’s transfer situation changing?

Memphis prep basketball coach Sorrell Valentine, who says he’s a mentor and advisor to UTEP transfer Arnett Moultrie, said this afternoon that the 6-foot-11 forward’s situation might be changing in a way that could open the door for Mississippi State.

Valentine told us yesterday that UTEP wasn’t going to release Moultrie to Mississippi State — and that he wasn’t sure why, either. Today, he says some things may have changed on that front, which could lead toward a release to State. “Just clearing some things up,” Valentine said.
