Lee Fowler to be next A.D. at Mississippi State?

Lee Fowler hasn’t gotten the job at Mississippi State. Not yet, at least. But apparently the folks at N.C. State are tired of waiting for their counterparts in Starkville to make a decision.

According to multiple souces and published reports, the State’s administration and Fowler have come to an agreement that will end the embattled Wolfpack athletic director’s 1o-year tenure in Raleigh on June 30. An official announcement, along with details of the buyout, are expected before the end of the day.
