Saban: Team will make no excuses from schedule

Alabama coach Nick Saban said his team won’t make excuses about a 2010 schedule in which its final six SEC opponents enjoy an open date before facing the Crimson Tide.
Instead, Alabama could be making plans, particularly for the one matchup of the six that sticks out for Saban.
“Probably the thing I’m most concerned about is playing Auburn on a short week when they have a bye week because we play on Friday,” Saban said Thursday. “Hopefully, we can do something to fix that.”
