Rebels, Bulldogs keenly competitive when it comes to baseball investment
Minutes after Ole Miss had completed a series sweep of defending national champion LSU last Sunday, second baseman Alex Yarbrough looked up into the crowd at Oxford-University Stadium, saw nearly 9,000 fans celebrating in the stands and broke into a grin. “Sometimes,” he said, “it’s hard to believe just how good we have it here.”
Obviously, he was talking about that day’s atmosphere. But really, it was a fitting description about college baseball in the Magnolia State overall.
