2010 NFL Draft – 10 Best Available Players

Clausen was originally rumored to possibly go as high as eight to Oakland and he had to get a little squirmy when Buffalo showed no interest at nine (taking C.J. Spiller), Jacksonville went with Tyson Alualu at ten, and San Francisco used two picks to go with offensive linemen (Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati). And then Denver went nuclear by taking Tim Tebow at the 25, and that all but ended Clausen’s Thursday hopes. If the St. Louis phone isn’t hot as you’re reading this for the 33rd pick in the draft and the first pick of the second round, Minnesota could be hoping to make the pick next at 34. Cleveland at 38, Oakland at 39, and Buffalo at 41 are the next best options.
