With six conference weekends to go, it’s not out of the question that a 17-16 team, by playing just .500 or a little better the rest of the way, could make it into an NCAA regional.

“If we could just have two weekends in a row to where our freshmen would just turn into sophomores and we have better at-bats, there’s no doubt in my mind that we’re not that far off,” coach John Cohen.
