The UK Athletics Board met Monday to make some key financial decisions for the program that receives no state funding. One decision today involved a slight raise in ticket prices.
The price to go to a Kentucky football game is going up $6.00 per game for single game seats and season tickets, you get a discount if you buy a season ticket. The price hike will generate about $1.2 million in revenue.
Current K-Fund seats will go up $50; that will result in about $1.8 million in new revenue.
UK says football season tickets are still a tremendous value, ranking eighth in the twelve team SEC. Auburn has the highest season ticket price followed by Tennessee.
