Taylor’s Had Less Than Stellar Fundraising Quarters Before

Last week, I noted that Gene Taylor reported First Quarter fundraising numbers under $40,000; after reviewing past fundraising quarters one quarter may not be a cause for alarm (or celebration depending what side of the story you sit on).

Looking at the most recent quarters, it is absolutely true that Q1 was down for Taylor. In 2009 Q2, he raised $75,400, in Q3 he raised $65,235 and in Q4 he raised $73,820. But, in 2009 Q1 Taylor raised just $23,150.

So when you compare Q1 in 2009 vs. 2010 he is doing better this year by a substantial percentage.
