Saban statue to debut in August
The bronze statue of the Crimson Tide’s head football coach will be unveiled in the Walk of Champions plaza at Bryant-Denny Stadium at a public event in the weeks before Alabama’s Sept. 4 season opener against San Jose State. No date for the unveiling has been chosen.
Emails sent by Fanblogs to confirm that resizing the statue’s head led to delays were not answered by the university.
