3. The best recruiters. Jimbo Fisher restocked Florida State’s staff with top recruiters Eddie Gran and Mark Stoops. South Florida’s efforts will receive a boost from Holtz’s energy. Add in Miami coach Randy Shannon’s popularity among South Florida’s prep stars and Urban Meyer’s coast-to-coast appeal at Florida, and the best Floridians choose in-state schools.
