College football teaching triangle between Norman, Austin, Boise

Boise State coach Chris Petersen won’t be headed for the beach or the ski slopes for his spring break. He’ll be sticking around on the practice field.
Just not his own.
Petersen said Thursday he’ll head to Norman, Okla. and Eugene, Ore. to get an inside look at how Bob Stoops and Chip Kelly run their practices.
“Bob Stoops has done such a great job at Oklahoma over the years,” Petersen told the Idaho Statesman. “He’s got his formula on success. I just have a bunch of questions. And I want to watch how they practice.”
