NCAA madness: Can Friday top Thursday?
Eddie: The afternoon set in Spokane. OK, it probably won’t surprise anyone who’s really been paying attention if Siena knocks off a depleted Purdue squad. Utah State might be more of a flyer in their all-Aggie matchup to follow, but Texas A&M won’t overwhelm USU physically, and the Utah Aggies have a significant advantage at the free-throw line.
Tim: I picked just two upsets on my bracket for Friday: Louisville over Cal and Siena over Purdue. That’s it. I know, nothing too sexy there. My flyer for the day — but one which I couldn’t pull the trigger on in the bracket — is Oakland. Wouldn’t be stunned if they beat Pitt.
