Notebook Kennedy: Eniel Polynice back today
NASHVILLE — Ole Miss basketball coach Andy Kennedy said Thursday that guard Eniel Polynice, suspended for the last regular season game at Arkansas last weekend, will be back in uniform for today’s SEC tournament quarterfinal game against Tennessee here in Bridgestone Arena.
“He had to do some things, but he’s back,” Kennedy said of Polynice. “It had to do strictly with his attitude. He’ll be dressed, ready to roll, and we’ll see how the game unfolds.”
Polynice reportedly had been unhappy with dwindling playing time. In the game before his suspension, he played 17 minutes in a win over LSU.
