SEC basketball fans head for Nashville
Downtown streets, hotels and restaurants soon will be inundated with thousands of sports fans wearing college logos on their chests and title hopes on their sleeves.
The Southeastern Conference men’s basketball tournament is Thursday through Sunday at the newly named Bridgestone Arena, bringing 12 teams and their passionate followers to Nashville for the first time since 2006.
Tickets sold out soon after they went on sale.
The champion of this tourney gets an invitation to the NCAA Tournament, which begins March 18.
