One of the two or three top basketball players in history has taken his golden playing days into the front office without much success.

Now, Michael Jordan wants to own a team. That’s what Charlotte Bobcats coach – and fellow North Carolina alumnus – Larry Brown says about his boss.

Jordan, who quit playing in 2003 to begin his third retirement after two seasons with the Washington Wizards and then was fired from his management job by the late Abe Pollin, runs Charlotte’s basketball operations.
