Senior Bowl might be last glimpse at Tebow’s cult-hero presence in full force

MOBILE, Ala. – The Tim Tebow spectacle might never be the same after today.
Tebow’s popularity might extend to the NFL, but his usual cult following is no guarantee like this week’s scene at the Senior Bowl – unmatched star power, moms and sons screaming his name, 10-person entourage following his every cleat mark.

Hard to celebrate a guy who might be holding a clipboard in the NFL, at least in 2010 while learning an offense.
Tebow’s presence as a South Team quarterback in the Senior Bowl – airing at 4 p.m. eastern on NFL Network from Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. – transcends footwork, accuracy or mechanical deficiencies that have been dissected all week.
