Cincinnati hires Central Michigan’s Butch Jones to replace Brian Kelly

According to Cincinnati Examiner Joshua Burns, the Cincinnati Bearcats have found their replacement for Brian Kelly, who has left the program for Notre Dame. Cincinnati will introduce Butch Jones, formerly Central Michigan’s head coach sometime Wednesday.
Jones had been interviewing for the head coaching job at Marshal but his success and similar coaching styles were too much for Cincinnati to look past in the interviewing process. Jones runs a similar style offense than his predecessor, Kelly. This should come as no surprise as Jones previously coached as a member of Kelly’s staff at Central Michigan.
