Despite NFL Talent, Some Struggle to Win
For reasons largely beyond their control, the Oklahoma Sooners are having a historic season. They’re doing the least with the most NFL-draft talent in recent memory.
The 6-5 Sooners, who have been beset by injuries, may have as many as four 2010 first-round picks on their roster. Of the 11 teams this decade that have produced two top-10 picks in one draft, none have fared this poorly the prior year.
