After a dozen years of brutal honesty about Florida opponents, most of whom he took delight in tweaking, Steve Spurrier can’t look at five years of undeniable evidence and sugarcoat the evaluation of his own South Carolina program.
“It’s a little bit [frustrating],” Spurrier said. “Looking back, we haven’t quite put it all together. … We haven’t been terrible, but you look around the country, a lot of my buddies [in coaching] wish they were bowl-eligible.”
