The CL’s Jerry Mitchell appearing on The Colbert Report Thursday
Jerry Mitchell, investigative reporter for The Clarion-Ledger, is scheduled to appear Thursday on The Colbert Report on Comedy Central.
Stephen Colbert portrays a conservative pundit who attempts to skewer guests with pointed political questions.
Producers invited Mitchell to appear after learning he had received a MacArthur Fellowship for his work over the past 20 years, investigating unpunished killings from the civil rights era.
The show airs at 10:30 p.m. weekdays, re-airing again hours later.
