Starkville, Mississippi – The formal investiture of Mississippi State University president Mark Keenum is scheduled for Friday in Starkville.
Keenum has been Mississippi State’s president since January.
The investiture will be held at noon Friday in the Bettersworth Auditorium of Lee Hall on the Starkville campus. It will be preceded by a breakfast and reception.
Speakers will include the Rev. Dr. Neddie Winters, president of Mission Mississippi; Gov. Haley Barbour; U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss.; and Keenum.

US and China take a step back from sky-high tariffs, agree to pause for 90 days
The U.S. has agreed to drop its 145% tariff rate on Chinese goods by 115 percentage points to 30%, while China has agreed to lower its rate on U.S. goods by the same amount to 10%.
