Saban urges Tide to take care, minimize chances of ‘getting sick’
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — One thing I’ve learned about Alabama coach Nick Saban: The man loves his analogies.
Usually creative, always planned, they are regular motivational messages sent to his team — directly or through media. They’ve gotten him in trouble before (the Pearl Harbor analogy after the Louisiana-Monroe game), but they are usually an accurate, honest portrayal of his concerns.
