YP Exclusive -Mississppi suing pharmaceutical companies over alleged deceptive marketing
The lawsuits have been filed against Forest Laboratories, Inc., Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc., Boehringer Ingelheim Corp., Baxter International Inc., Sanofi-Aventis, Schering-Plough Corp. et al, Ivax Corporation and Abbott Laboratories, Inc. They had initially been filed in Lafayette County, however, were moved to federal court.
All the lawsuits essentially accuse pharmaceutical companies of deceptive marketing practices that led to Miss. paying $98 million too much for its State Health Plan in 2008 alone.
Below is a copy of one of the lawsuits, currently the lawyers are fighting to consolidate all the cases mentioned above into one.
