No. 4 UM quickly turns attention to USC
OXFORD — As the Ole Miss football team crept a little higher in the national rankings, it returned to practice on Sunday afternoon to hastily prepare for its Southeastern Conference opener against South Carolina on Thursday.
The five-day turnaround before Thursday’s game had coaches and players back at the indoor practice facility just hours after the Rebels polished off Southeastern Louisiana 52-6 in the home opener at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
