Lane Kiffin’s bluster meets Urban Meyer’s wrath
It’s the most anticipated comeuppance in recent college football memory. Florida-Tennessee on Saturday from The Swamp is supposed to be Lane Kiffin’s on-field punishment inflicted by Urban Meyer for an offseason of diarrhea of the mouth.
“If you’re gonna be brash,” former Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said, “you better be able to back it up.”
For all of the bluster that has come out of Kiffin’s mouth, there’s no substance supporting it.
That’s a no-no in the SEC. You can feel the parlor game going on as the entire conference waits with bated breath for Meyer’s revenge.
