Auburn, Chris Todd should pass first SEC test
Now we get to see if quarterback Chris Todd has the passing arm Auburn thought he had when the Tigers signed him in December 2007.
Louisiana Tech, a team at least one of us on the planet thought could handle Todd and the Tigers last week, was outmatched in the second half in Gene Chizik’s 37-13 debut.
Todd showed off his surgically repaired throwing arm by completing 17 of 26 passes for 255 yards and two TDs.
Chizik showed, at least for one game, the reputation he had for detail and discipline when he was an assistant at Auburn and Texas.
