He was one of more than 300 people who came out to a town hall meeting hosted by 2nd District Rep. Bennie Thompson Monday in Jackson.
The health care proposal has drawn interest, enthusiasm and skepticism from people across the country, igniting a fiery debate over whether the nation’s health care system can – or should – be improved.
Those who oppose the plan argue that it will be too costly and that government should not interfere in the private sector.
