FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas fifth-year senior wide receiver Lucas Miller suffered a broken collarbone Thursday and will miss the Razorbacks’ opener against Missouri State, Sept. 5 in Little Rock.

Miller will be sidelined four to six weeks which currently renders him questionable for Arkansas’ second game of the season, the Sept. 19 SEC opener against Georgia in Fay- etteville.

Miller was injured when the Razorbacks practiced in full pads Thursday morning.

A native of Greenwood originally a walk-on redshirted as a freshman in 2005, Miller has long since earned a scholarship and a niche in Razorback history with 10 catches for 201 yards against Mississippi State last season.

Miller’s 201 yards were just 3 shy of the Razorbacks’ single-game receiving yards record set by Mike Reppond against Rice in 1971. For 2008 he caught 30 passes for 490 yards and two touchdowns.
