MSU signee’s lawyer: NCAA wants more

STARKVILLE — The attorney for Mississippi State basketball signee Renardo Sidney said today the NCAA has asked for multiple years of tax returns for Sidney’s maternal grandparents, a request the attorney calls an “illegal intrustion into privacy rights.”
Donald Jackson further claims the tone of the NCAA’s requests in its inquiry to determine Sidney’s amateur status signify “a racially selective application of race-neutral NCAA legislation.”
