Responsible? John Calipari? For what?
Winning? Absolutely. The former Memphis and UMass coach, now head basketball coach at the prestigious University of Kentucky, is only too happy to take credit for piling up wins over the years, of getting his two previous college teams to the NCAA Final Four.
But expecting Calipari to assume any responsibility for rules violations that occurred while he was head coach of those two programs — that, apparently, is somehow above Calipari’s pay grade.
