Looks like the race between the tortoise and the other tortoise — Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno — will last at least one more week. Of course. They’ve made careers out of dragging this thing out.
Why wouldn’t the NCAA play along?
Contrary to popular expectation, the Infractions Appeals Committee did not rule on the Florida State case Tuesday. It did not accept or reject FSU’s appeal of one of the penalties handed down in March by the Infractions Committee in the school’s academic fraud case.
