Ole Miss wins share of SEC crown
FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — At 6 a.m. on Saturday, Ole Miss seniors Logan Power and Brett Bukvich sat in their room at The Cosmopolitan Hotel wide awake.
They stared at the wall. They tried to get back to sleep. They couldn’t.
“We knew what we had to do,” Power said.
And eight hours later at Baum Stadium, the Rebels put that nervous energy to good use, flattening Arkansas 16-3 and winning the Southeastern Conference regular season title for the first time since 1977.
