From the state legislature, to institutions of higher learning, to the association of independent beauticians, the life of Rep. Charles Young made an impact on a wide range of Mississippi organizations and the literally millions of people those organizations have collectively served.
Young’s life was honored at a memorial service Monday at the MSU-Riley Center, in the renovated theater which, several speakers pointed out, his support helped bring back to its old splendor.
