It was at Mississippi State, where a pair of weekend developments gave fans much to think about in terms of the future of the Bulldog basketball program:
Shot-blocking 6-foot-9 center Jarvis Varnado entered his name in the NBA Draft but did not hire an agent, thus preserving his ability to withdraw from the draft and come back for a senior season.
