Barbour calling special session on eminent domain
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour says he will call a special session for legislators to set regulations on eminent domain.
Eminent domain is the process the government uses to take private land for projects ranging from road construction to industrial development. Barbour vetoed one eminent domain bill in March, saying it was too restrictive.
