Mayor Melton Using Bus As Mobile Billboard
While the majority of the other Democratic candidates for mayor were participating in a debate sponsored by WAPT, Mayor Frank Melton was showing off his latest campaign tool — a school bus.
Melton didn’t attend the debate Thursday night at the Jackson Convention Center. Instead, he held a “Meet the Mayor” event at the Clarion Hotel.
The show stealer seemed to be a school bus draped with a huge Melton campaign sign.
