DeMarcus Cousins finally wanders into the SEC

So star basketball recruit DeMarcus Cousins is following John Calipari to Kentucky.
Is the ticker-tape parade before or after they unveil Cousins’ statue on the UK campus?
It’s just hard to generate much sympathy for Cousins, who has been blatant in his efforts to turn college basketball into his own little NBA prep course.
“Well, basically I went home (from the McDonald’s All American Game) and tried to figure out which coach out of all the coaches recruiting me could help me get to the next level,” Cousins told Rivals.com. “The answer was Coach Cal. Then I asked myself what school was best to me. And what school is better than Kentucky?”
