Gov. Haley Barbour took the national stage this past weekend in criticizing President Barack Obama’s fiscal policies.
Meanwhile, the folks back home are just asking for some help to try and weather this economic crisis.
Gov. Barbour on Saturday delivered the Republican Party’s response to President Obama’s weekly radio address, taking the party pulpit to blast the national economic recovery stimulus package and the president’s budget plan.
“The Obama budget spends too much, taxes too much and borrows too much,” Barbour said repeatedly during the address.
