Gene Marsh, former chair of NCAA Infractions Committee, joins Birmingham firm

Alabama law professor Gene Marsh, the former chairman of the NCAA Infractions Committee, has joined the Birmingham law firm of Lightfoot, Franklin & White to work in the firm’s collegiate sports law department, Marsh told The Birmingham News.
The law firm helps colleges and universities with NCAA compliance and academic issues and the negotiation and drafting of coaches’ contracts.

Lightfoot, Franklin and White worked with Auburn during its most recent NCAA infractions cases in football and basketball.
