The recent charges against the Stanford Group have prompted a flood of calls to the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office.
“Our office immediately subpoenaed financial information and will be taking action to ensure the assets of the citizens of our state are protected,” said Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann, who warned that the investigation could take some time.
Although his office is doing its own investigation, Hosemann encouraged investors to get their own, good legal and financial advice.
