Auburn defensive coordinator Ted Roof: No tricks, `you have to out-hit people’

Auburn defensive coordinator Ted Roof: No tricks, `you have to out-hit people’

Ted Roof was asked if he’s going to run a multiple defense at Auburn like the one he ran at Minnesota. Auburn’s new defensive coordinator talked about a 3-4 defense and adjusting on the fly, and then offered this:
“This league, you don’t trick people. You have to out-hit people. There won’t be much tricking going on.”
