Whispers: BC letting quality coaches get away
New Boston College coach Frank Spaziani hired veteran assistant Gary Tranquill as his offensive coordinator Saturday and now turns his attention to hiring an offensive line coach after Jack Bicknell Jr. took a job as assistant offensive line coach with the New York Giants. There’s a chance Spaziani will name former Syracuse and Minnesota offensive coordinator Mitch Browning to the post.
It’s still hard to believe Spaziani is in charge at BC. Actually, what’s hard to believe is that BC canned Jeff Jagodzinski after he interviewed with the New York Jets.
