Brett Favre should throw in the towel
No matter what happens Sunday afternoon, whether the Jets win and get into the playoffs, win and don’t get into the playoffs or lose and definitely don’t get into the playoffs, one thing is for certain: Brett Favre should call it a career once the season is over.
The 39-year-old quarterback is limping to the finish line, having lost three of his last four starts, and on Wednesday admitted for the first time that he’s having shoulder problems that have affected his performance in recent weeks.
He also admitted that this could very well be his last game on Sunday. Quite frankly, I think it should be if the Jets don’t have another Sunday in them in what has turned into a disastrous finish.
